Retainer & Reservations
A 50% retainer is required to reserve service dates. Dates remain subject to availability until the retainer is received. Remaining balances and any travel-related charges must be paid according to the care agreement provided before services begin.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled service may receive a refund of amounts paid, less non-refundable processing fees and any travel or third-party expenses already incurred. Cancellations made between 48 and 72 hours before service may receive a credit equal to 50% of the affected service amount toward future services. Cancellations within 48 hours, missed appointments and services already rendered are non-refundable.
Travel & Destination Care
Domestic and international travel care is custom quoted. Airfare, lodging, ground transportation, baggage fees, parking, tolls and other third-party expenses may be charged separately. Travel expenses become non-refundable once purchased or committed.
Scope of Service
Surgery Bestie provides non-medical post-operative recovery and companion support. Services do not replace your surgeon, physician, nurse, emergency services or other licensed medical care. Surgery Bestie does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications or independently change your surgeon's treatment plan.
Emergencies
For urgent symptoms, contact your surgeon or seek emergency care as directed by your surgical team. Call 911 for emergencies, including severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, loss of consciousness, severe uncontrolled bleeding or other life-threatening symptoms.
Client Photos & Privacy
Client photographs, testimonials and recovery images are used publicly only with appropriate permission. Identifying information should be removed when practical. Private medical or recovery information is treated as confidential according to the applicable service agreement.
